bulb  Summary: By default, the Board user is not able to view Executive goals. The System Administrator can control the Board user's access to Executive Goals.

 Product: GoalTrak™ EV  Version: All

Description: In most organizations, the board of directors is responsible for the overall health of the organization; but does not get involved in the day to day management of the organization. By default, the Board User, representing the board of directors, is able to view the system of goals for the organization but is not able to view the Executive goals which are private and only visible to other executives that have been given the right to view them. For an organization with a more active board of directors, the Board User can be given the right to view these Executive goals by the System Administrator.

Procedure: Under direction of the executive management of the organization, the System Administrator can give the Board User the right to view Executive goals by completing the following steps:
  1. After signing in, the System Administrator selects the People submenu form the System Admin menu.
  2. Select the Board user from the list of users on the right hand side of the page. The Board user's record will be displayed.
  3. Towards the bottom of the page, find the Executive Rights check box and check it. Here is what it looks like:
Check this box if this person has Executive rights.
  4. Click on the Update this Person button to save the change.
