 Title: GoalMail Window Locks Up

 bulb  Summary: On some laptops, after viewing two GoalMails, the GoalMail view window locks up when trying to view a third GoalMail.

 Description:

After two successful viewings of GoalMail, each time closing the viewing window with the Close Window button, the user attempts to view a third GoalMail. The viewing window opens, but the GoalMail is never displayed. If the viewing window is then closed using the "X" button, the GoalTrak application locks up and and the only way a user can get control is to close their browser.

Do not click on any of the resource links in the header while GoalTrak is locked up. This will cause your browser to continuously open up new windows for the selected resource and the only way to get control of your browser is to shut down your computer. See Related Topics for more detail.

This issue has never been seen on a desktop computer; only certain laptops:

1. HP Pavilion dv9500 Notebook PC; Vista Home Premium; IE 7.0 (7.0.6001.1800)

2. Toshiba L300; Vista Home Premium; IE 7.0

3. Acer Aspire 1640; Windows XP Home Edition; IE 7

4. Philips 11NB5800; Windows Vista Ultimate; IE 7

 Work Around:

This issue does not occur when the user closes the GoalMail viewing window with the "X" button instead of the Close Window button at the bottom of the window.
